Rice Hydro - FH2-B Fire Hose Tester 3.5 GPM up to 1000 PSI

The Rice Hydro FH2-B Fire Hose Tester is a rugged, gas-powered hydrostatic test pump designed for safe, efficient fire hose testing in accordance with NFPA 1962 standards. Delivering 3.5 GPM with testing capabilities up to 1000 PSI, the FH2-B is engineered to test fire hose up to 6" in diameter while providing the portability and reliability needed for demanding field operations. 

Powered by a dependable Briggs & Stratton® 4-cycle gas engine with Oil Alert protection, the FH2-B is built for departments and service operations that require mobile testing capabilities without relying on external power sources. The unit features a triplex ceramic plunger pump with an internal oil bath for long-lasting durability and operational stability, along with a heavy-duty manifold equipped with four independently controlled stainless steel outlet ball valves with NST couplings for controlled multi-line testing. 

Rice Hydro’s exclusive “NO WILD LINES” design helps improve testing safety by allowing operators to fill hose lines with large water volume at low pressure and perform testing at high pressure with low volume, minimizing uncontrolled hose movement during operation. The FH2-B is enclosed in a heavy-gauge welded steel roll cage to protect the pump and engine in tough environments, while the stainless steel liquid-filled gauge ensures accurate pressure readings with reduced vibration and flutter.
