Management Team

Kevin Murphy

Kevin Murphy, with his supportive mother Ellen in his corner, took over management of Industrial Protection Services, LLC in 2012, working alongside his father, Dick, until Dick’s passing in 2017.

With the same passion his father had, he worked his way from service technician to salesman, finally to general manager. To Kevin, fostering strong customer relationships and ensuring their ongoing satisfaction holds greater significance than just securing a sale. He prides himself in constantly updating and broadening his business’s product line to provide the New England area fire service with a "One Stop Shop."

In his free time, Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife, Annie, his four kids, Lindsey, Madison, Erin, and Kevin Jr., fishing and boating. 

Ed Ashegh

Ed has been with Industrial Protection Services for the past 24 years, transitioning from a service technician to a sales representative, and currently holding the position of Sales Manager. He is deeply passionate about collaborating with all 12 members of the IPS Sales Team and delivering high-quality solutions to our valued customers. Additionally, Ed is responsible for conducting numerous product demonstrations for the company, with his favorite product to demonstrate being Holmatro Rescue Tools. "It's the most hands-on product we represent, which truly captivates our customers. Who wouldn't enjoy cutting up cars?".

During his leisure time, he takes pleasure in activities such as fishing, hunting, and motorcycle riding.

Cindy Murphy

Originally starting with our sister company Industrial Protection Products in 1999, Cindy transferred to IPS's customer service team 8 months later.

As IPS's office manager, she processes orders and requests for all of our customers, as well as assists in helping with any customer issues that may arise. Cindy has handled everything from entering orders, invoicing customers, and shipping and receiving; she has even helped out in the service department and has handled multiple repairs and returns!

Vincent Cicerchia

As the Vice President of Business Development at IPS, Vincent's primary role revolves around providing assistance and support to Kevin, the CEO, as well as the entire team as they collectively work towards the growth and success of IPS.

"What fuels my passion for the job is the unique environment at IPS. Being a family-owned and operated business, there is a strong sense of commitment and dedication among the team, making it a pleasure to contribute to the company's growth and success."

Among the array of services, products, and brands that IPS offers, his favorite area to focus on is customer service. He firmly believes that excellent customer service is the backbone of any successful business.

Outside of the professional realm, he finds joy in striper fishing!

Product Specialist

Cliff Plourde

Sr. Product Specialist Hazmat Response Equipment, Portable Gas Detection, and Inflatable Rescue Boats

Cliff joined IPS in January of 2011. His primary role and responsibility is selling and servicing portable gas detection, Hazmat Response, and Special Operations equipment and supplies. He spends a large portion of his time working with local, State, and regional Hazmat Response Teams as well as Industrial Hazmat Response Teams. Also included is work with the IPS sales staff supporting them in their gas detection, hazmat response equipment, and inflatable rescue boat sales.


Early in Cliff's sales career as well as fire service career he became interested in hazmat response. Some of the first products he sold were Overpack drums and absorbents. Shortly after that, from repeated requests, he started to sell portable gas detection... "and the rest is history". Although he sells and services a lot of gas detection, the products he enjoys working with the most are the boats. "Being a hard-core boat enthusiast, they are just plain fun to sell and work with; customers enjoy talking about them and boat delivery day is always an exciting time!". 


In his personal life, Cliff has been in the fire service for 43 years. Throughout his career he has served as an Engineer, Lieutenant, Training Officer, Secretary of the Fire Association, Captain, Assistant Chief, and now as Fire Chief of New Boston Fire Department. He also serves as the town’s Forest Fire Warden and Chairman of the Board of Firewards. Recently, Cliff was recognized by the NH Fire and Emergency Services Committee of Merit with a Citation for 40 + years in the fire service.


When he is not at IPS or the station, Cliff enjoys boating, fishing, upland game hunting, dog training, scuba diving,and time with family and friends.

Susan McKenney

Gear Repair Specialist

Susan joined IPS in September 2024, taking on the role of Gear Repair Specialist in the newly established cleaning and repair division. 

 With a rich and varied background, Susan brings over 60 years of sewing experience to the IPS team, ranging from garment creation to antique auto upholstery, truck tarps, and mechanical insulation. Before IPS, she taught Junior and Senior High School Home Education, drove trucks for local paving construction companies for 18 years, and worked in wide-format graphics.

At IPS, Susan's primary responsibilities include cleaning and inspecting turnout gear to ensure its integrity and functionality. She meticulously addresses rips, tears, holes, broken stitching, and replaces Velcro and zippers to restore the professional appearance and functionality of firefighter gear.

Outside of work, Susan enjoys spending time with her husband, designing their new home in New Hampshire’s Lakes Region, and staying busy with sewing, knitting, gardening, and cooking.

Lori Carder

Gear Repair Specialist

Lori Carder joined Industrial Protection Services, LLC in November 2025 as a Stitcher in the IPS Turnout Gear Clean and Repair Center.

In her role, Lori is responsible for washing and drying firefighter turnout gear, documenting needed repairs, and performing detailed stitching and restoration work to keep gear safe, functional, and NFPA-aligned. With more than 10 years of experience in industrial stitching from her time at Globe MSA, Lori brings both precision and craftsmanship to every piece of gear she works on. She is deeply passionate about her work, knowing that each repair contributes to a greater purpose: helping protect the firefighters who rely on their gear in the field.

Outside of IPS, Lori is also a small business owner. Through her business, Pleasant Dreams, she creates one-of-a-kind decorative dream catchers in a wide variety of colors, sizes, and designs. During the summer months, she can often be found at county fairs across New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine sharing her handmade creations.



Massachusetts Sales Team

Zach Bigda

Zach recently joined the IPS team as the Western Massachusetts sales representative. He currently covers Hampden, Hampshire, Franklin, and part of Worcester counties. Zach has been in the fire service since 2008 and has experience with volunteer and career departments. He is also a paramedic of nearly 10 years and holds a position on a national medical response team.

Between customizing Fire-Dex turnout gear and getting dirty on the drill yard, he enjoys spending time with his two children. 

Pete Shipman

Pete Shipman joined Industrial Protection Services, LLC (IPS) in January 2025 as a Sales Representative. With 28 years of fire service experience, Pete retired as Training Captain and brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to his role. Pete also served many years with the Massachusetts Department of Fire Services (DFS), where he played a significant role in the growth of the organization, including the opening of its two satellite campuses in Springfield and Bridgewater, MA. At IPS, Pete focuses on providing fire departments with top-tier products and equipment, drawing on his extensive experience to ensure firefighters have the tools they need to perform their duties safely and effectively. His favorite products to work with are extrication tools, which he believes are invaluable in helping first responders perform critical tasks. Pete enjoys the hands-on nature of working with these tools and appreciates the challenges they help firefighters overcome. Pete is passionate about his work because the fire service has been a cornerstone of his life. He takes pride in supporting firefighters by supplying the highest-quality gear to enhance safety and performance. Outside of his professional life, Pete enjoys spending time with family and friends and working in his yard. He values the opportunity to relax and recharge while maintaining strong connections with those closest to him.

Sean Rogers

Before joining the IPS team, Sean started with our sister company, IPP in 2017. It was his all-round aptitude for sales and service that drove him to make the switch in 2021. Today he services Central Massachusetts, aiding his departments however he can. Sean's favorite product to sell is the 3M™ Scott™ Air-Pak™ X3 Pro SCBA; he enjoys learning about the benefits of wearing an SCBA, allowing him to better educate his departments. "I look forward to continuing the passion my family has shown in this company for over 40 years and want to continue the trend of providing the best customer service in the region.".

When not working, you can find Sean golfing, playing flag football or watching Boston Sports!

Terry Link

Terry joined IPS in 2019 with over 20 years of sales and service experience. She came to us with background in fire service as she was a volunteer back in New York and has been married to a Firefighter for 25 years. She says she probably missed her calling and should have been a fulltime Firefighter as she has great passion for the fire service. Terry covers Essex County and part of Middlesex in Massachusetts  and Seacoast in New Hampshire. Her favorite product to sell is extrication tools... "We get to cut up cars and smash glass what is there not to like about that!".

In her spare time, Terry enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Danielle Elliott

Danielle comes to IPS with 25+ years of marketing & advertising experience and 18 years of corporate event planning. She has utilized her marketing skills to become one of our leading sales representatives. Her specialty is turnout gear, and she loves working with the Firefighters one on one to get them exactly what they need to stay protected. Covering the Massachusetts Metro area, Danielle is responsible for many large fire departments. “Shortly after I started here, I took a call from a customer, and he yelled, “Danielle YOU just saved a life!” He went on to explain that equipment I lent him was used to save a man that was trapped in a burning building! That day I realized the impact our role plays in helping to keep people safe, and I’ve never looked back.".
 
On a personal level in addition to her love for her family, the ocean, and of course her Frenchie Lt. Blaze, she’s also a professional cake decorator.

Paul Lamoureux Jr.

Paul has been with IPS 6 going on 7 years, serving Plymouth, Bristol, Norfolk, Barnstable Counties Departments & Joint Base Cape Cod Fire Departments. In addition to his title as IPS sales representative, Paul has been in the fire service for 42 years. Starting his career in West Bridgewater MA in 1981, he served 4 years as call Firefighter/EMT. Come 1985, Paul served 35 years as a career Firefighter/EMT for Bridgewater MA, retiring as Senior Captain. In 2019, Paul served 4 years as call captain/EMT for Plympton MA. Today, Paul is currently with Onset MA Fire District as Car 50. Paul loves the departments he serves and the team he works with at IPS, “I have many great customers whom I consider friends, brothers, and sisters.”. 

When Paul is not enjoying his time as an officer with NEFAMA where he has been a member for the last 36 years, you can find Paul working in his yard or spending time with his triplets.

Dave Giberti

Dave has worked for IPS for many years involved in both sales and service roles. He enjoys the variety of work he gets to do and especially enjoys the opportunity to meet and work with so many great customers and coworkers.  

When he is not working, Dave enjoys camping and boating.

New Hampshire Sales Team

Ben Lefebvre

Ben came to IPS in 2017 with many years of fire service experience and prior sales experience. For over 17 years he has been a career Firefighter where he has served as Firefighter for the Town of Hanover, NH Fire Department and currently works for the City of Nashua Fire Department where he is a Lieutenant working out of Station 2 and assigned to a regional Haz-Mat Team.

Over his time at IPS, Ben has covered sales territories in Central and Western Massachusetts but is very thankful to be back covering New Hampshire. He currently covers Cheshire & Sullivan Counties, the Upper Valley area of Grafton County as well as Western & Central Portions of Merrimack & Hillsborough Counties. Ben prides himself on building relationships that are built on trust and allow him to work with Fire Departments to ensure that the men and women who serve their communities have the most efficient and reliable equipment available to them.

When Ben isn’t working you can find him and his wife chasing their two daughters down a local ski mountain or spending time with friends and family at their family camp on Lake Winnipesaukee.


Gary Hicks

Gary joined the Industrial Protection Services team in the fall of 2022 after retiring from the Franklin New Hampshire Fire Department. He comes to us with over 25 years of fire service experience. Gary still has a passion to serve his community and has remained a member of the Franklin Fire as a call firefighter. 

One of the things Gary has enjoyed since joining IPS is stopping in at all the different fire departments in his territory and building relationships.  Out of all of the products and brands IPS carries, Gary's favorite products to sell is NRS water rescue gear. Gary has a passion for water rescue due to the multiple challenges it presents.  

When not at work Gary enjoys boating in the summer with his family. In the fall, you are likely to find him out in the woods hunting upland game birds with his chocolate lab Barley.

Maine Sales Team

Ed Farnsworth

Ed has been with IPS since June of 2022. He comes from a long fire service background. He grew up in the Ellsworth Fire Department, where he has been a call Firefighter for 37 years. He is also Captain and training officer for the Town of Lamoine, where he has volunteered for 27 years. Today Ed covers Eastern and Central Maine. “ I truly enjoy working with my customers, many of them I have known for years.”

In his free time Ed loves to travel with his family and friends.  


Mike Canon

Mike Canon has dedicated his career to serving fire departments and first responders. He started as a product specialist for a small rep agency, then became a regional sales manager for a leading firefighting product manufacturer. Mike joined IPS in 2005 as a Maine Sales Representative, progressing to Maine Sales Manager after helping establish IPS’s first branch in Yarmouth, Maine. In 2011, with his wife expecting and an unexpected offer to learn fire equipment manufacturing and distribution on a larger scale, he joined IDEX Fire and Safety. Given the opportunity to rejoin the IPS team and return to his true passion of serving the Maine fire service, Mike jumped at the chance and rejoined IPS in July 2024.


Mike serves as the IPS Maine Branch Manager, a technical product specialist supporting the team across the state, and a sales representative for Somerset, Franklin, Kennebec, Sagadahoc, Lincoln, Knox, and Waldo counties.
When asked why he was passionate about his job, Mike said, 'For first responder calls to go as well as expected, fire departments need technical equipment that is reliable, works as expected, and is serviced professionally. That’s my passion, that’s what we do best, and it’s a great feeling to provide such a vital service to the Maine fire service community.'


When not bouncing from fire department to fire department, Mike enjoys the Maine outdoors with his wife Erika and son Nicholas!

Jon Usher

Jon started with IPS in 1998 as a service technician and moved to sales for southern and coastal Maine in 2011. He covers York, Cumberland, Oxford, Franklin, Somerset, Kennebec, Androscoggin, Sagadahoc, Lincoln, Knox, and Waldo Counties. Jon still helps out with service for the state of Maine. His favorite product line is Holmatro Rescue Tools. "It's rewarding to see the product you sell and train on make a tangible difference for people on their worst day.".

When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his kids at their sporting events. 


Office Team

Nancy Roderigue

Nancy and her husband Richard reside in Gray, ME. In July of 2024, they will be celebrating 35 years of marriage. Together they have three grown children, two daughters and a son. They also have two granddaughters, sisters Ava, and Cora who bring so much joy to their lives.

 It has been over 2 years since she joined the IPS team in our Maine office, after being in the medical field for 25+ years.  She thanks her co-workers for helping her transition into this new position and appreciates all the knowledge that they have shared with her thus far. 

Every day Nancy strives to provide the highest quality of customer service by treating everyone she interacts with in a professional, positive, and respectful manner. She is responsible for entering, receiving, and shipping orders, as well as taking care of returns and repairs and maintaining inventory. "Working at IPS allows me to utilize my communication skills whether it is for a customer, the sales associates, or a vendor. I try to put myself in a customer’s shoes and always try to understand their needs." In her free time, shes loves family time, boating, swimming, and playing lots of pickleball!


Richard Patterson

Joining IPS in 2020, Richard has a decades-long career in various healthcare, manufacturing, and distribution industries. Now the Controller, Richard, manages our accounting department.

Richard's activities include forecasting, budgeting, tax preparation, strategic planning and execution, process and quality improvement. “I really enjoy problem solving. I participate in strategic decision making to help shape and decide long term objectives. I also see myself, not just as an accountant but a business partner who has an equal stake in whether the business is successful or not.” His greatest achievement, however, is raising 4 humble, smart and compassionate children, with whom he enjoys spending time.

When not at work, he enjoys traveling with his wife, seeing concerts, and motorcycle rides on the weekends.

Lennie Bedard

Lennie, IPS's shipper and receiver, has been running the IPS warehouse for the last 3 years. He is responsible for processing and packaging items from Bauer Compressors, Air-Paks, rescue boats, Streamlight flashlights, and so much more! Lennie assists in loading and unloading items from multiple distribution trucks, as well as, prepares important shipping documents ensuring these lifesaving products go to the appropriate customer.

When not at work you just may find Lennie savouring the day at Zorvino Vineyards! 


Lisa Forkey

Lisa Forkey, Service Administrator for the IPS Service Department, is dedicated to enhancing support services and ensuring customer satisfaction. With a proactive mindset, she continually works to refine processes and deliver exceptional service. Over the course of her career, Lisa has received numerous awards recognizing her commitment to excellence and helping others.  

Since joining IPS, Lisa has participated in a live burn event in Laconia, gaining valuable firsthand insight into fire behavior, safety protocols, and IPS service gear in action. This experience deepened her understanding of emergency response and reinforced her dedication to continuous learning in her role.  

Married for over 30 years to a longtime school friend, Lisa values family deeply and is proud of her two sons—one working in management and the other serving in the U.S. Army. As President of an American Legion Auxiliary, she is passionate about giving back and spreading kindness whenever possible. Outside of work, Lisa enjoys traveling, attending concerts and live events, and soaking up the sunshine near the water.

Joycelyn Lagasse

Joycelyn manages Marketing, Social Media, and Design at Industrial Protection Services. Having completed her Business Management & Marketing degree at Suffolk University in December 2022, she promptly joined the IPS team in February 2022 to pursue her passion for creativity. 

Her role at IPS not only allows her to express her creative abilities but also fosters a meaningful connection with the different first responders she has the pleasure of meeting. Joycelyn's admiration for these heroes goes beyond professional curiosity; her family had the experience of a house fire, and the courage and compassion exhibited by the responding firefighters left a lasting impact.

In her free time, she enjoys exploring new eateries, spending time outdoors, and socializing with friends.


Kelly Rogers

Kelly is the Warranty and Repair Manager at Industrial Protection Services.  She has been a member of the IPS team for over seven years and is responsible for initiating repairs and returns for any equipment that cannot be serviced in house.

She is passionate about IPS because it was started by her father in 1993 and is now run by her brother, Kevin. "Being a part of a family business is truly a gift.". 

In her free time Kelly enjoys boating on Lake Winnipesaukee with her family, riding motorcycles, and skiing and snowmobiling in the winter.


Bridget Hovan

Bridget joined Industrial Protection Services, LLC in January 2026 as a Billing and Administrative Assistant at the Salem, NH headquarters.

With a career centered on customer service and operational support, Bridget brings a unique blend of people-first care and corporate precision to IPS. Her professional background spans from elementary education to payroll administration and billing, giving her a strong foundation in both communication and accuracy. She takes pride in keeping things running smoothly and believes that being productive, helpful, and positive is key to supporting both the IPS team and its customers.

Outside of work, Bridget loves living along New Hampshire’s Seacoast. Whether she is walking the beach, cooking in the kitchen, or practicing yoga and meditation, she enjoys staying active and grounded when she is not in the office.



Service Team

Jeff Craig

Husband, dad, caretaker, wallet for his wife, their 3 kids, 2 cats, and a tortoise...

At IPS Jeff carries the title of shop coordinator as well as technician; he also dabbles as the SCBA trainer for new hires. Having worked at IPS for 10 years and counting, he has accumulated many responsibilities. One of his biggest responsibilities and challenges has been implementing a tracking system for all the equipment that makes its way into the IPS shop for repairs. Jeff is passionate about his work because he knows that this equipment working correctly is a matter of life and death. 

When not working, he likes to relax with video games or a bit of model making!


Dan Dickey

Dan has been a service technician for IPS since September 2020. He is very passionate about making sure all of the equipment he tests and repairs, is safe and functional for those who use them. His favorite service is hydro-testing DOT cylinders. 

In his free time, he likes to spend time with his family, friends, and his dog Charley.


Oliver Patterson

Oliver recently joined Industrial Protection Services (IPS) as a technician and is now in his third week with the company. His primary responsibilities include repairing air-paks, conducting hydrostatic testing on air tanks, and learning how to service compressors.

With a background as a mechanic for several years, Oliver has found a deeper connection to his work at IPS, appreciating the significance of what he does. He has quickly developed a passion for maintaining and servicing 3M™ Scott™ breathable air compressors, and the role has given him a strong sense of purpose and belonging within the team.

Outside of work, Oliver enjoys working on his truck and motorcycles. He is also an avid paintball enthusiast, often spending his free time outdoors, enjoying the activity and the weather.


Scott Zins

Scott is a service technician for IPS. He started with us in April 2019 after retiring from Windham NH Fire Department with 32 years combined expeirence as a firefighter, medic, and mechanic. He is a skilled and certified repair technician in 3M Scott Fire & Safety, Holmatro Rescue Tools, and Bauer Compressors. Scott is also responsible for assembling and servicing rescue boats, vents, saws, and fans. As a retired Firefighter Scott understands the importance of properly repairing and maintaining life safety equipment; he also enjoys the intricate workings of high pressure systems both air and hydraulic.

Scott spends his off time with his wife, family, and friends and enjoys all things New England.

Dan Kelleher

Dan has been an Industrial Protection Service's service technician for the past 15 years, serving 5 years full time and 15 years part time. Dan can fix just about anything that comes through our warehouse doors, while performing annual maintenance for our customers. His favorite thing to do is work on compressors. 

When not at IPS or the fire station, Dan enjoys spending time outside or with his family. 


Ryan Hooper

Ryan joined the IPS family two years ago with several years of experience as a Volunteer and Career firefighter. Today in addition to being an IPS service technician, he serves as a lieutenant with departments throughout Hillsborough County in New Hampshire. Ryan's favorite tools to fix are Holmatro Rescue Tools; he enjoys learning the intricacies of the tools his customers work with every day. 

On his off days Ryan enjoys playing golf and fishing.

Ed Bradbury

Ed began working as a service technician for Industrial Protection Services, LLC in August of 2023 after retiring from a career in the fire service.

His responsibilities include the service and repair of rescue tools and breathing air compressors, as well as the testing of various equipment used in the fire service.

"As an end user of the equipment for many years, it is interesting to see the evolution and advances that enhance the effectiveness and safety of firefighters."

When not at IPS, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends.


Brian Cronin

Brian joined the IPS team in May of 2022 as a part-time service technician. His responsibilities include hydrotesting cylinders, inspecting/repairing/servicing air-paks, removing/installing DOT cylinders and a variety of other things. As a full-time firefighter himself, Brian is very passionate about making sure every department that IPS services can rely on their equipment when it is needed most. 
Among all the responsibilities tasked to Brian, he greatly enjoys servicing air-paks as they are one of the most vital pieces of equipment used on a regular basis. If not at IPS or the firehouse, you can find Brian at the gym, hanging with friends, or simply relaxing at home!

Jason Sliver

Jason has been a part-time service technician with IPS since November 2023 after retiring as a Lieutenant/Paramedic with Windham NH Fire Department. With over 30 years of combined service as a firefighter in NH and NJ, he has seen firsthand the importance of properly maintained equipment. 

In addition to his role at IPS, Jason is also a member with MATF-1 and has served on multiple disaster deployments around the country. On his days off, he enjoys riding his motorcycle throughout New England and restoring vintage machinery and equipment.


Dave Schofield

Dave has been an IPS service technician for the last 6 months. When in the warehouse, he enjoys working on Holmatro Rescue Tools; "It's extremely mechanical work. These tools can be the most important piece on a truck.". 

In his spare time, Dave enjoys drag racing!

Founder Dick Murphy's profound affinity for the private sector's work propelled him to excel in respiratory safety.
