Rice Hydro - EL-FHT Fire Hose Tester 3 GPM up to 500 PSI

The Rice Hydro EL-FHT Fire Hose Tester is a compact, electric-powered hydrostatic test pump designed to safely and efficiently test fire hose up to 6" in diameter in accordance with NFPA 1962 standards. Delivering 3 GPM at pressures up to 500 PSI, the EL-FHT provides dependable performance for fire departments, municipal agencies, and service operations requiring accurate hose testing in a portable, rugged package. 

Built around a durable triplex ceramic plunger pump with an internal oil bath, the EL-FHT is engineered for long service life and operational stability. The heavy-duty manifold features two independently controlled stainless steel ball valves with NST couplings, allowing operators to safely manage multiple hose lines during testing. Rice Hydro’s exclusive “NO WILD LINES” design utilizes a strategically placed inlet ball valve to allow large-volume filling at low pressure and low-volume testing at high pressure, helping reduce dangerous hose movement during operation. 

The rugged welded steel roll cage protects the pump and components in demanding field environments, while the stainless steel liquid-filled gauge provides accurate readings with reduced flutter. An adjustable pressure regulator allows operators to easily set testing pressures from 50 to 500 PSI. The EL-FHT is also available with custom “Built to Suit” configurations to meet unique testing requirements.
